How it works

  1. Photograph the document. A phone photo is enough. A PDF or a Word file works too, and several pages together.
  2. Get a price. The system identifies which notarial certificate is required, counts words or pages, and calculates the fee under the regulations — including VAT.
  3. Send a request and pay. The notary checks that the document is suitable, approves it, and sends a payment link for the exact amount. Nothing is charged before approval.
  4. Come in to sign. Only the signing and the identification are face to face — at our office in Netanya, or at your home for the supplement fixed in the regulations.

Frequently asked questions

How much does notarial signature verification cost?

NIS 197 before VAT for the first signatory on the document, and NIS 77 for each additional signatory on the same document. In practice, verifying one person signature comes to about NIS 232 including VAT.

Does the price vary from one notary to another?

No. Notary fees are fixed by the Notaries (Service Fees) Regulations, 5739-1978, and are identical at every notary in Israel. A notary may not charge more than the tariff — and may not charge less than it either. Anyone offering you a discount on a notary fee is departing from the regulations.

Can notarial verification be done remotely, over Zoom or video?

No. Notarial identification requires physical presence before the notary and an original, valid identity document. This is a statutory requirement and there is no way around it.

So what can be done online?

Almost everything except the moment of signing: send the document, get an exact price, approve it, pay, and set a time. Instead of phoning to ask the price and waiting for a quote, you arrive at the office with everything already settled — and it takes minutes.

How much does a notarized translation cost?

A notarial certification of translation accuracy is priced by the number of words in the translation, in bands of 100 words or part of a band. The system counts the words in the document you upload and works out the bands automatically. Such a certification requires the notary to be fluent in both languages (s. 15 of the Notaries Law), so a translation Hebrew to English is completed and paid for here on the site, and in any other language we review the document and get back to you before payment.

Can the notary come to my home or office?

Yes. The regulations set a defined supplement for service outside the office — an amount for the first hour, an amount for each additional half hour, and travel expenses. You can select it in the calculator and see the full price in advance. This matters most for people who are housebound, and for care homes and hospitals.

What do I need to bring to the meeting?

ID card or passport original and valid — not a photocopy and not a photo on your phone — and the document itself. If there are several signatories, each one brings their own identity document.

Do the prices in the calculator include VAT?

The tariff in the regulations is stated before VAT, and the calculator shows both figures — before and after. The rates are updated on 1 January each year.
